Rise & Grind started as a personal project, not a client brief. We built a fictional coffee shop brand from nothing: a mascot character, a primary logo, a colour system, patterns and a full icon set, all drawn by hand rather than pulled from a library or generated by AI. Working without a client timeline let us push character design and illustration further than most briefs allow. It is also where a lot of visual thinking gets tested first, ideas that later turn up in the pharma, insurance and corporate identity work we do for real clients.

Drawing inspiration from the dynamic patterns skis carve into the snow, we devised a design that integrates Helvetia's brand colors into a distinctive stripe pattern on a sleek black background, ensuring the SkiFit logo is optimally visible.

Bachem's brand guidelines underwent a transformative revision, aimed at refreshing the company's visual identity to better align with contemporary aesthetics and enhance collaborations with external agencies. A significant addition to the new guidelines is the careful integration of a new pixel element, symbolizing the precision and innovation at the heart of Bachem's ethos.
